Hello my name is Dandie, I’m a 3 1/2 month old, male Dandie Dinmont Terrier cross Yorkshire Terrier, who arrived at The Mayhew because I was no longer wanted. I am a typical lively and playful puppy who needs a lot of attention. I am very affectionate, craving company and I love to learn. I’m also very inquisitive and into everything. I am good with other dogs, cats and children.
I am looking for a new home with someone who will make sure I get two gentle, thirty minute, off lead, socialisation walks in the park per day whilst I’m still young, building up to a minimum of one hour of off lead exercise daily once I’m fully grown. My new guardians will be at home for most of the day, will have owned dogs before and will also need to take me to training classes. I would happily live with sensible older children. My new guardians will be taking on a fifteen year commitment, which must not be taken lightly.
