Jack is a cute and fun 10 months old male Jack Russell Terrier. He has been fine with dogs and has met cats. He is housetrained and fine to be left short periods. He walks well on a harness but has been un-tested off lead. Jack can be nervous but soon comes round if he is shown some love and attention.

We are looking for a very special owner for Jack as he has some issues with dominance. He does not like fuss or being affectionate and may attempt to bite of this is ignored. However if he is given clear commands on how to behave he seems to be far more relaxed. He seems to be more of a working dog than a family pet and therefore will not be homed with children. He has been castrated to help his dominance issues and also vaccinated. He is very good off lead and will come back straight away if called, he is also good on the lead. We are looking for someone who has had to deal with a dominant Terrier before and understands what they are taking on. We are also working with Terrier rescue who would offer good advice about having a Terrier in the home.
